Fruit Tasting at Children 1st @ Meir Park

To celebrate the bright and vibrant colours seen at the circus, the Peter Rabbits took part in some colourful fruit tasting.

After talking about the various colours on the outside of the fruit, it was then cut open so the children could see the colours on the inside. Wow! The colour of the watermelon was so different but other fruits like the lemon were similar inside and out. The Peter Rabbits did a great job of matching the colours with the colour cards.

The children also used their senses to feel, smell and of course, taste the fruit. Some the fruit was delicious but there were some funny faces when a small piece of lemon was tasted!
