The Circus Comes to Town at Children 1st @ Newark

Roll up, roll up! It’s time to enjoy the fun of the circus at our Newark nursery. The children have been finding out about all the skills used by circus performers to keep the audience in the big top entertained. From acrobats, clowns, tight-rope walkers and jugglers, the children in early years and the Peter Rabbits have loved talking about the amazing skills these artists have and the hours of practise they put in to perfect their art.

However, it wasn’t all looking at books and talking as the little ones were keen to create their very own circus acts. Jumping through rings of ‘fire,’ taking part in the strongest person contest and walking the tight-rope, we’ve certainly unleashed the circus performer within each of the children. Who knows, with years of practise they might one day make it to the big top!
