Harvest Celebrations at Children 1st @ Chesterfield Royal Hospital
To celebrate harvest festival our early years children have been looking at the fruit and vegetables we have grown down in the garden. We harvested what we had grown and brought it inside to cut open and look at.
We also made our own delicious vegetable soup using our home-grown vegetables which we carefully cut into small pieces and then shared the soup with our friends.
Throughout the week the staff, children and parents have been putting together a harvest hamper which we have donated to a local charity called Pathways of Chesterfield which helps to feed and look after homeless people in our area.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the hamper.
