Great Team Work Enhances Outdoor Learning at Children 1st @ Shepshed

Here at Shepshed we decided that some of our outdoor areas would benefit from a bit of a make-over and who better to help us with this than the children themselves. After all, they are the ones using the areas every day.

The collaboration between the early years team has really helped to enhance our outdoor play provision and the process of working together has given the children a sense of ownership in the results. There was so much sharing of ideas which was of benefit to their social and communication skills.

Everyone is pleased with the outcome of the make-over with the mud kitchen, music corner and a make shift construction area being a great hit with us all.
