The Big Garden Bird Watch at Children 1st @ Grantham

Inspired by the RSPB’s Big Garden Bird Watch, Mr Dainis , our caretaker, built  a bird hide for our garden area so we could search for birds without scaring them away! We looked carefully at the different birds on the chart and ticked them off on our sheets once we spotted them!

Some of the children were excited to see a bird’s nest in the trees. Mr Josh pointed it out to all the children and helped them collect sticks from the garden to make their own!
