A Sensory Valentine at Children 1st @ Toton
At Toton the Jemima Puddleducks and Bobtails loved taking part in their Valentine’s themed activities.
As the photos show, they were absorbed by the different types of sensory play which included the coldness of heart shaped ice, super smooth cornflour gloop, glittery oats and printing in red with heart shaped foam.
The babies loved exploring the cornflour looking at it closely as it ‘glooped’ through their fingers. They delighted in searching out the love heart shapes hidden below the surface. More searching came with the little ones moving around the oats to find the hidden red hearts, whilst pushing around those cold ice cubes with a brush was great fun!
As well as all this sensory experience, there was still time to make some wonderful heart shaped cards to take home!
Well done to our Jemima Puddleducks and Bobtails for great work on their first Valentine’s!
