Supertato Rescue Mission at Children 1st @ Main Street
This month at Main Street we have been looking at the exciting story, ‘Supertato’.
After reading the story the early years children received a letter from the Evil Pea. The children were really shocked to learn this pesky green pea had vegetable-napped Supertato and his friends. The letter informed the children that they needed to become super heroes and work together to complete the mission to save them before it was too late. Attached to the letter was a photo of the missing vegetables.
The children talked about what they needed to become super heroes and decided that the best course of action would be to create their own masks.
After the transformation was complete the children gathered all necessary equipment including their masks, along with their very important check lists and headed towards the garden.
The children searched high and low on this very special mission and one by one they rescued all of the missing vegetables. Hurrah! The children were very excited to discover Supertato on top of the post office roof and were relieved to see he had not yet become mashed potato!
Together with Supertato and his friends, the children captured the Evil Pea bringing his bad ways to an end and restoring peas-e to the nursery! Great team work everyone!
Our super heroes really enjoyed taking part in this activity and we hope you all enjoy looking at the photos of our mission.
