Valentine’s Day Dress Up at Children 1st @ Newark
Our wonderful celebration of Valentine’s day got off to a great start when the children arrived dressed as princes, princesses, or fantasy characters. The children enjoyed admiring each other’s outfits and we chatted about the different characters.
Valentine’s Day would not be complete without special cards and so everyone was soon busy designing and making them for their special person. As the cards were being made we talked about what we loved about our special person and the special times we share.
“I love playing hide and seek with my mummy,” said James.
“I love reading Frozen with mummy,” said Sophia.
Then it was time for our Valentine’s Ball, with everyone practising their very best dance moves.
Meanwhile the babies were just as busy as they explored their Valentine’s tuff tray, experiencing the sensation of the various textures of the materials. The rose petals were a firm favourite!
This lovely day ended with a Valentine’s tea party.
Many thanks to our parents and carers for providing the costumes.
