Pancake Time at Children 1st @ Toton

Ready, steady, flip the pancake! Our brilliant cooks at Toton put on their aprons, their chef’s hats and were soon at the pancake station reading the instructions on how to make the batter.

With weighing and mixing the pancake station was a hive of activity as everyone prepared their batter mix. The children showed how independent they could be as they tackled this task.

Then they came downstairs to the hall and watched their pancake being cooked. They even had the opportunity to flip their pancake too!

The finished pancakes were decorated at tea time with delicious toppings.  The children had fun choosing from strawberry, chocolate or syrup sauce, strawberries, oranges, lemon and blueberries. Such choice and a great opportunity to combine flavours and try new ones!
