African Snail Visit at Children 1st @ Leicester

As part of our rainforest topic we were delighted to welcome an African snail to nursery. This gave us the opportunity to closely observe this fascinating creature.

The snail showed us all aspects of its daily life as it slept, ate and moved around for the children.

To extend their learning the children were able to recognise the different senses and as a group they were able to discuss what they could see and how it felt.
