Huffing and Puffing at Children 1st @ Hathern

The children have been busily following the adventures of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ as part of our traditional tales topic.

As a home task the children made their own little pig houses and brought them to nursery to show their friends. 

They used various tools to make marks to create pictures of the houses and used rollers for the brick house, dry spaghetti for the straw house and lollipop sticks for the wooden house. 

 The under 2’s loved rummaging through dry porridge oats with their hands, bowls and spoons. They went on to try porridge for snack and enjoyed it just as much as Goldilocks!

The Peter Rabbits used shapes to make some lovely teddy bear faces.
