Light and Dark at Children 1st @ Derby Road
As part of our ‘Light and Dark’ theme we’ve been chatting with the early years about bonfire celebrations and had a great day enjoying some colourful creative activities.
Our lovely bonfire pictures were really bright and we even made sparklers out of chocolate fingers! Delicious!
Outside, words such as bang, stomp, and pop were used to describe sounds and actions as the children were busy mixing vibrant colours with water.
The children made magnifying glasses so they could pretend to look for fireworks in the garden
With no organised fireworks displays this year, we’ve certainly had a colourful day and showed that the fun can still go on! We’re all agreed our day went with a great big BANG!
