Bonfire Celebrations at Children 1st @ Newark
We enjoyed celebrating bonfire night by having our very own bonfire! The children absolutely loved roasting their marshmallows and waiting for the hot dogs to warm up. They all enjoyed eating their hot dogs outside by the fire.
The children talked about how we keep safe around the fire. They understood that they couldn’t go within the starting circle. As Elijah said, “Don’t go too close to the circle.” Everyone was very sensible.
Isla meanwhile was busy patiently waiting for her hotdog to cool. She offered some good advice. “We have to blow our food before we eat it!”
We all had a brilliant time outside in the fresh air. Our bonfire picnic was a real treat for us all.
