A ‘WOW’ Science Week at Children 1st @ Derby Road

Wow! What a fab time we had during our dedicated Science Week.

To get into theme, the children along with Miss Kathryn and Miss Frankie put on their white coats like those worn by scientists and carried out a wide range of experiments.

These included making the colours from skittles melt, seeing whether objects sink or float, looking at pencils go through bags without causing the bag to leak and also seeing what happens when mints are added to coca-cola.

As well as learning what the word prediction means and then making their own, the children absolutely loved our wow words which are experiment, predictions and separate.
