National Tree Planting Week at Children 1st @ Acorns Upper Tean

As part of our support for National Tree Planting Week, the children have planted an apple and a pear tree.  We hope to have apples and pears to eat for our snack next autumn. The children helped Mr Peter to dig the holes, plant the trees and then filled in the holes around the tree trunk with soil. Our young gardeners were really interested in what they were doing and did an excellent job. Well done everyone and a huge thank-you to Mr Peter.
