Inside Out Day at Children 1st @ Derby Road

The children at Derby Road enjoyed  a range of age appropriate activities to support Children’s Mental Health Week.

The Early Years’ children came dressed with their clothes on inside out as a visual way to explain how we may look different on the outside, to how we feel on the inside. They also enjoyed talking and playing with our feeling face spoons and made a list and drew things that made us feel a certain way.

The Benjamin Bunnies also expressed their feelings by using colours to take part in a  floor play activity and talking about the colours they used and what they might mean.
