Once Upon a Time at Children 1st Nurseries

World Book Day is all about sharing a love of stories of all kinds.

The children at Derby Road not only dressed-up for the day, some of them even became authors themselves, creating books about princesses and dinosaurs. There was also dancing, singing and of course, the sharing of some delightful books. What a fun day!

The children and staff  at Birstall really enjoyed World Book Day. They have been busy doing story based activities and enjoying the puppets and story games. The fantastic costumes helped to set the mood for a great day, generating so much chatter about the various characters the children were dressed as.

Thank-you to all parents and carers who provided the costumes to make this such a memorable day.
