Watching the Cress Grow at Children 1st @ Sheffield
The children always love exploring nature. With Spring in the air, they have been busy planting cress seeds and are enjoying watching watering them when they arrive at nursery and checking to see how they are growing.
The messy nature tray has been a huge hit with the children. They have had the first hand experience of handling the different materials in the tray, feeling the textures of the clay, the hay, the mud and the leaves. There’s been plenty to chat about!
It’s no wonder that we all look forward to taking part in the annual National Day Nurseries campaign ‘Healthy Body, Happy Me’. This year’s focus ‘Nurturing Through Nature’ ties in beautifully with our approach to the children’s development and we are delighted to take part once again.
