Celebrating the Festival of Holi at Children 1st @ Leicester
Peter Rabbits recently celebrated “Holi,” the festival of colours. They enjoyed getting super messy using the different powder paint colours in celebration.
Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival, also known as the “Festival of Colours”, and the “Festival of Love”. It celebrates the divine and eternal love of Radha Krishna. It also celebrates the victory of Lord Vishnu’s Narasimha Avatar over Hiranakashyap which signifies the triumph of good over evil.
Thank-you to parents and carers for providing some spare clothing to be worn for this activity. It was destined to be a rather messy, but thoroughly enjoyable activity, which the Peter Rabbits loved!
We wish everyone celebrating this festival ‘Happy Holi!’
