The whole nursery had so much fun playing in the glorious white snow which covered our huge lawn!  The nursery grounds looked so magical bathed in the untouched snow. No wonder the children (and staff) couldn’t wait to go outside. We had snow ball competitions and made snow angels too.

The Early Years’ children loved the experience of playing inside our tee-pee which was covered in snow. It soon became an igloo as the children’s imaginations took them to far away lands.

Our Benjamin Bunnies expanded their playdough snow and made snowmen using sticks found outside for arms and legs.

The Bobtails made snowy footprints and rode their bikes making some amazing patterns in the snow.

Even our babies were involved by exploring the cold texture of the snow in their sensory tray.

What a fabulous day! We’re hoping it snows again soon so we can have more snowy adventures.
