Body Painting at Children 1st @ Plumtree
Our Jemima Puddleducks have enjoyed the wonderful sensory experience of painting their bodies!
They used their hands and feet and the various tools to explore mark making and enjoyed copying the marks and movements made by Miss Nic.
Body painting has so many benefits for the babies. Some of these include:
- helping to improve fine motor skills by strengthening finger and hand muscles.
- stimulating creativity and imagination.
- promoting social skills, sharing of tools copying marks made and social interaction.
- it encourages communication and language skills both verbal and non verbal.
Most of all though, it’s such good fun!
