A Remarkable World Book Day at Children 1st Nurseries

World Book Day is an annual event dedicated to changing the lives of children through a love of books and shared reading.

It’s also a brilliant opportunity for us to get together to celebrate the joy of reading.

Why is sharing stories so important? It’s fun and opens the door to creativity and imagination. It’s such a positive experience for adults and children to share a precious few moments and of course, books help to stimulate the development of children’s language and other skills.

Thank-you to everyone who supported World Book Day. We loved talking about the costumes the children were wearing and sharing their favourite books.
