The Deep Blue Sea at Children 1st @ Oakwood
Here at Oakwood we’ve been finding out about the wonders of ‘The Deep Blue Sea.’
The Jemima Puddleducks loved the sensory experience of splashing in the water and we had smiles all around as they explored the different resources available.
The Bobtails have had lots of fun in the water outside in our garden. The children delved into their deep blue sea tray filled with colourful tissue paper. Miss Kayleigh encouraged lots of conversations with the Bobtails naming the sea creatures and their features.
The Peter Rabbits have been sharing the beautiful story of the ‘The Rainbow Fish.’ They’ve been practising their sharing, just like when the Rainbow Fish gives away his scale. Leading on from this, they’ve been busy making their own fish with playdough and using describing words such as lumpy, spiky and glittery when we talked about their creatures.
