Ready, Steady, Mix! at Children 1st @ Newark Town

The Benjamin Bunnies and the Early Years got out the bowls, the big spoons and all the ingredients in readiness for a cake making session.

Miss Nicola encouraged the Benjamin Bunnies to really give the mixture a good stir as they set about making their rice crispy cakes. After all that effort, the children took their delicious cakes home to share with their families.

Meanwhile, the Early Years worked with our cook, Miss Lisa, to make chocolate rice crispy cakes.

They all enjoyed mixing the chocolate into the mixture and were really good at filling up the baking cases. As a final decorative touch, the children drizzled white chocolate over their cakes. Best of all, everyone enjoyed having a little taste of what they had made! Delicious!
