A World of Adventures at Children 1st @ Newark Town

The Early Years and the Peter Rabbits have loved exploring our latest theme of ‘Adventures’ over the past couple of weeks.

The dinosaur adventure gave the Early Years the opportunity to explore the dinosaur tuff tray, stimulating the children to create their own adventures with the resources and materials. Making dinosaur fossils using the mini dinosaurs and play dough was a very hands on experience and using their sense of touch and smell helped the young adventureres to enjoy the cocoa dinosaur swamp!

It may be lovely and warm outside, but inside its been a little bit chilly recently as the adventures of the Peter Rabbits took them to the Arctic.

In this very cold spot, they enjoyed some Arctic inspired messy activity, exploring the animals in more detail and noticing the different features on each.
