Burgers and Bubbles at Children 1st @ Newark
Making the most of the sunny weather, the Early Years made some burgers for us all to have for a picnic tea in our delightful, huge garden.
Our young cooks used mince, onion, flour and egg to combine together to create their burgers. They used their rolling and pressing skills to make the perfect shape for the burgers. Miss Imogen cooked the burgers on the fire pit. The barbeque flavour made them so tasty!
The children were fantastic when remembering to stay safe near the fire pit. Ivy said, “We stay behind the stones.”
Meanwhile the babies have also been having fun in our beautiful gardens enjoying the awe and wonder of bubbles. From the beautiful colours, the magic as they float away, to the ‘pop!’ as they disappear, it not surprising that everyone was fascinated by the bubbles!
We’re looking forward to more outdoor adventures in our enormous garden as the sunny weather continues.
