Traditional Stories at Children 1st @ Shepshed

To bring the story of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ to life, our Bobtails have enjoyed a range of activities. They had a great time exploring the Jack and the Beanstalk magic beans tuff spot with spoons and scoops. Perhaps their favourite activity was walking across the magic beans tuff spot which they thought was very funny. They delighted in feeling the beans squelching between their toes as they walked through them.

Another traditional tale, the ‘Three Little Pigs’ has sparked a lot of activity. The Bobtails children searched through the tuff spot to find the pigs in the straw and bricks. The Peter Rabbits’ children were also involved, using pink playdough to make some little pigs. They loved painting with sticks as they discovered different ways of making marks.
