The Little Red Hen at Children 1st @ Sheffield

Inspired by the traditional tale ‘The Little Red Hen,’ the children have enjoyed making their own bread. They’ve looked at the recipe, discussed the ingredients, and the steps necessary to transform them into delicious bread.

Then they were delighted to get involved in making the magic work and were so patient waiting for the dough to rise and let the yeast do its work.

Well done our own little bakers. The bread was extra yummy! Unlike some of the characters in the story of ‘The Little Red Hen,’ we love working as a team here at Sheffield!
