Autumn Adventures at Children 1st @ Acorns Upper Tean

The Bobtails’ children have had a fantastic adventure exploring the great outdoors in search of signs of Autumn.

To gather materials for our Autumn activities we headed outside to look for different objects for us to use. We found sticks of all different sizes and then helped to carry them all in a box with Miss Michelle. We also found some pinecones and different leaves, but the exploring didn’t end there!

As we worked our way up through the outdoor area, we came across some wonderful pumpkins that our Early Years’ children have been growing over the past months, so we spent some time having a close up look at them.

We also had a walk through the stream and made some splashes as we were tapping our feet. During our exploration Miss Michelle found a worm and picked it up so that we could all have a look and some of us even had a turn of holding the worm ourselves.
