A Galaxy of Superheroes at Children 1st Day Nurseries

Superhero action is all the go at many of our nurseries. Supertato and his gang of helpers continue to be busy as they ward off the Evil Pea. Even some princesses have come along to help out as the children enjoyed dressing as their heroes.

Supertato heroes have been made, masks decorated, and the variety of vegetables and their importance for health explored. Everyone’s been busy using their fine motor skills, talking about colour, shape, and numbers throughout the activities. We’ve talked about what heroes are and enjoyed all kinds of role play.

Grantham used their dressing up week to raise funds for the Crackerjacks Children’s Trust with over £150 raised for this worthy cause. Thank-you to the generous parents at Grantham who supported this fund-raising venture and to parents for providing the costumes.
