A Great Nursery Council Meeting at Children 1st @ Rosemary Lane
Mrs Sandy and our nursery councillors recently got together for our monthly meeting to discuss important nursery matters. Whilst we explored the agenda, we noticed that one of our topics was about nursery food, so we invited Mrs Jo, our nursery cook, up to come and discuss things further.
The nursery councillors chatted with Mrs Jo about what they would like for their tea on Friday, and they all came to a very quick decision of a big picnic with jam sandwiches and strawberry ice pops. Mrs Jo quickly started writing down their ideas and said she would do her very best to make their wishes come true!
Father’s Day is a special day in the diary this month and we’re busy organising a little Stay and Play session for our daddies. The councillors shared their ideas about the activities they could do with their daddies at our ‘Stay and Play’ and ironically most of the ideas involved the mud hut and football!
We also had a big think about the types of books we would like to buy with the book voucher we received from one of our friends in the Early years, who left nursery earlier this month ready for his big adventure to school! The councillors suggested books with unicorns, cars, witches, and superheroes. Let’s see what we can find!
What a great nursery council we had today in Early Years, thank you!
