World Ocean Day at Children 1st @ Syston
World Ocean Day is an international day that takes place annually on 8 June. It reminds us to celebrate the wonder of one shared ocean on our blue planet.
Here at Syston, the children have been talking about the wonder of the ocean and what could be found in it.
Our Early Years made a colourful large ocean adding various sea creatures and spoke about all their differences. The result was a magnificent collage which was really effective. Great team work Early Years! We all chatted about the role the children could play in protecting our oceans, such as not leaving litter on the beach.
The younger children explored different sensory activities with colours and sea creatures to look at.
