Holiday Time for Peter Rabbits at Children 1st @ Leicester

Peter Rabbits have been exploring all things holidays recently!

They have been busy using junk modelling materials to make an ice cream parlour. A good ice-cream is an essential part of any holiday!

Then there were suitcases to be made and discussions to have about what to pack. There was role play as we talked about passport control and finally after all that making and packing it was time to have holiday fun at the beach themed tuffspot.

Throughout the activities the children showed their readiness to take turns, share resources and to take part in discussions around how holidays are different and that you don’t have to go on an aeroplane to go on holiday!

The children were confident to speak in groups and showed their best listening skills during a show and tell with one of our children who had just come back from their holiday!
