Cucumbers Galore at Children 1st @ Main Street

A few months ago, our Early Years’ children planted some seeds in our vegetable patch. Since then, our young gardeners have nurtured the growing plants, watering and weeding the patch and waiting patiently to see which vegetables would be the first to be harvested.

The children were thrilled to discover that the cucumbers had grown so well and were ready for picking. After cleaning them, they were carefully chopped up to make a delicious snack. Home grown cucumbers are the best! Well done gardeners!
