September Highlights at Children 1st @ Derby Road
The Peter Rabbits have been busy practising their fine motor skills. The children enjoyed using the tweezers and pincers to transfer the pom poms from one tray to another. During this activity we talked about the assortment of colours they could see and the sizes of the pom poms. We used words such as “big, little, small, large.”
Wet days didn’t stop the fun as the Bobtails put on their playsuits and ventured out to get creative with the chalks. Mark making with the chunky chalks was such fun!
The Early Years decided to show off their best baking skills to produce some delicious fairy cakes. They were very busy weighing, measuring, and observing as the baking mixture changed when it was cooked. Great work Early Years!
