Making the Most of Autumn at Children 1st @ Chesterfield
In amongst the rain, we’ve had some lovely sunny days which have shown off the wonderful colours of autumn in all their glory.
No wonder the children across our nurseries have had such a wonderful time exploring all that the season has to offer.
At Chesterfield, the babies have had the joy of discovering the wonder of autumn, through a series of autumn sensory trays. Filled with leaves, sticks, conkers and even pumpkins of different sizes, the babies were absorbed in their exploration of the season’s fruitfulness. Pumpkins were a favourite as the babies found out which they could lift, which were too heavy and which ones would roll.
We’ve got a few more weeks before winter so we’ll be making the most of the late autumn through more sensory experiences.
