Thank-you Santa! from Children 1st Day Nurseries
The children at our nurseries were all delighted when Santa popped in to deliver early Christmas presents.
For the children at our Sheffield nursery, the quick thinking of Miss Jess, the Early Years Lead Practitioner saved the day when a visit to see Santa in his grotto in the city centre had to be cancelled because of high winds. A disaster was averted when Miss Jess got in contact with the company who had invited the children to see Santa and, with some organising, Santa came to nursery instead! He was so fantastic and the children loved him! After reading the children some Christmas stories about himself, Santa got them to repeat his magic rhyme that turns his ordinary key into a magic key so he can get into everyone’s houses without chimneys! The magic rhyme went like this:
“Snow and ice, I stir this twice,Naughty elves, and jingling bells,I’ll ask this key to unlock the door,And hope you children get all you wished for!”
Santa’s Elf Elliott brought along some presents too, so every child got to choose a gift! It was the most magical day!
The visit from Santa to our Syston nursery also brought much delight as the children received their gifts and took him and his elf for a walk in the play area before he flew off to visit the next nursery.
Thank- you Santa for bringing gifts for all the wonderful children at Children 1st Day Nurseries.
