A Busy October at Children 1st @ Newark

The Peter Rabbits have been busy making pumpkin and bat biscuits. The children mixed their own ingredients and rolled out their dough using the rolling pins and before using the cutter to create the Halloween shapes. Scarlett said, “I am patting the dough,” and Teddy said, “I want the big pumpkin.”

Well done star bakers for following the recipe and making such delicious biscuits!

Over in Early Years the children were also busy making the most of the large garden and using the balcony to observe the birds flying overhead. “Wow!” said Arli as he spotted magnificent fly past of birds. The children were also in action planting new herbs which they can use in their cooking. They’re already smelling good and we’re looking forward to tasting them soon.

With all the wonderful nursery refurbishment that has taken place as well as the children’s activity, it’s certainly been a very busy month here at Newark.
