A Busy Start to February at Children 1st @ Buckinghams

February got off to a roaring start with our Chinese New Year celebrations. The Year of the Tiger saw the children making colourful lanterns and a wonderful dragon using recycled junk. They loved making the dragon move to the sound of the tambourine. Tactile fun was had by all as they handled some slimy noodles.

The children have been busy at home as well. Our families kindly responded to an invitation to make puppets based on their favourite songs and stories. The children have enjoyed sharing their puppets and stories with their friends. This home link activity is ongoing. We can’t wait to see the rest of your favourite stories and puppets!
