A Celebration of Books and Plants at Children 1st @ Newark Town
Our Peter Rabbits’ children have been very busy brightening up our planters by adding new plants to bring some autumn colour.
Miss Zoe helped the children dig the holes in the soil ready for the plants and explained to the children how to care for the plants to make sure they grow. When they finished planting the children all helped to give the plants a drink of water.
Thank-you Peter Rabbits for adding some cheerful plants that we can all enjoy.
Peter Rabbits have also been busy having a good read. Along with Early Years, they celebrated National Read a Story Day by bringing their favourite stories from home to share with their friends.
The children also picked their favourite books from around the nursery and enjoyed sharing these at story time. There was also time for the children to settle and look at books independently.
With such a treasure trove of fantastic books to share, National Read a Story Day was a great success but whatever the day, we all love books at Newark Town.
