A Celebration of Music at Children 1st @ Sheffield
Never mind Glastonbury! Here at Sheffield, we had so many musical celebrations inspired by National Music Day. We love music so much we extended our activities over the week!
Possibly the best day ever, the Music Fest festivities were loved by everyone involved! All the children taking part had their own personalised admission wrist band to enter the festival. We had face painting, different music areas and a main stage featuring some very good acts, including a special visit from Peppa Pig who came to show her best dance moves!
A big thank-you to all our families who made some AMAZING instruments and helped to make our Music Fest THE BEST!
Thank-you also to Edie’s mummy and Nilde’s daddy for sharing their musical talents with us as part of our week long celebration of all things musical. Our children in Early Years loved listening to them as they performed on the clarinet and the bag pipes. The children were delighted to have the opportunity to play different instruments.
Peter Rabbits 2 were also involved in our celebrations. They showed their dance moves at our fabulous neon disco and then later in the week enjoyed their barn dance.
The photo gallery shows the happy smiles of the children enjoying our special celebration of music.
