A Huge Bucketful of Dinosaur Adventures Part 1 at Children 1st @ Birstall
The Early Years children have been learning about adventures and what better book to help them understand this concept than ‘Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs’ by Ian Whybrow. The story tells of Harry’s adventures when he finds a bucketful of dusty old dinosaurs in his Grandma’s attic.
The children made their own dinosaur trail in the garden. They made it bright with the use of paints and observed how new colours were made when the paints were mixed together. The trail helped the children to develop a story line into their play as they set off on a dinosaur hunt. They stayed in character throughout their adventure.
