Anyone for a Bear Hunt? at Children 1st @ Main Street and Meir Park
The children at our Main Street and Meir Park nurseries certainly were after listening to the wonderful story, ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen, and sharing the illustrations. The classic children’s story has been enjoyed by children over the years and has sparked many an adventure.
The Bobtails at Meir Park certainly weren’t scared to walk through their bear hunt sensory trays, feeling the grass tickle their feet! They splashed in the wavy water, and then squelched their feet through the wet mud before walking through the flour snowstorm! Everyone had the best time exploring all the different textures!
Over at Main Street, it was the Peter Rabbits who enjoyed going on a bear hunt. In fact, they were searching for several bears! They followed the bears’ foot prints and used their magnifying glasses and binoculars to find the bears that were hidden in the garden. The children weren’t scared at all and will definitely be going on a bear hunt again!
