Bringing Colour to the Garden at Children 1st @ St. Peter and St. Paul

Our Bobtails and Benjamin Bunnies  have enjoyed bringing a little colour back into our gardens.

After choosing our favourite coloured flowers and picking our spades, we set to work. We discarded any leaves and old flowers and prepared the soil by turning it all over and raking the top.

Next, with a little help from our adults, we dug little holes for our flowers to sit in. We then pushed the soil back into the hole and pressed the soil down using our hands.

Not all the flowers looked their best as a few of us really enjoyed pressing the soil down a little too much!  We gave them all a good drink of water and are looking forward to seeing them flourish.
