Bumper Christmas Fair at Children 1st @ Clowne

Thanks to the hard work of  staff and with great support from parents, carers and friends, our Christmas Fair was a fantastic success. So far we have raised over £520  for the charity Children with Cancer UK. As we are still selling home-made cards and gifts in the reception area until 13 December we hope this figure will rise still further.

As the photographs show we had a wide variety of beautifully presented stalls to attract buyers, games for all the family and some delicious festive refreshments to ward off the cold weather.

Children With Cancer UK is a United Kingdom-based charity dedicated to raising money for research and providing care for children with cancer and their families. The aims of their research projects are to understand what causes children to get cancer and to develop improved treatments. We are pleased that the proceeds of our Christmas Fair will help the work of this wonderful charity.
