By the Seaside at Children 1st @The Marina
The sun is shining, and summer is finally coming, so Miss Kaitlin and Miss Libby have created a wonderful seaside tuff tray! The Peter Rabbits have been enjoying the sensory exploration of the cornflour sea, the damp sand and mixing these together.
With such a range of creatures, ice lolly moulds and buckets and spades to explore, it’s not surprising that The Peter Rabbits couldn’t wait to begin their adventures.
The activity prompted the use of so many new words such as beach, seal, crab, and fish. The children built up their confidence to use small phrases such as ‘seal is swimming,’ ‘it’s the blue sea,’ and ‘wet sand.’
Let’s hope the lovely weather holds up and Peter Rabbits can enjoy more seaside adventures.
