Cardboard Box Play at Children 1 st @ Newark Town

Early years made fabulous use of the boxes from a delivery last week. It was quite a big delivery so they all had a box to themselves, choosing to turn them into houses. Some children chose to work independently while others worked together. The houses were decorated using coloured chalks to make them into lovely homes!

The benefits of cardboard box play are many. Here’s just a few examples:

And of course, it’s a cheap activity which is so much fun and a great way to recycle unwanted packaging.
