Chopstick and Scissor Skills at Children 1st @ Birstall
Inspired by our Chinese New Year celebrations, the children have been finding out about Chinese food and having a go at using chopsticks.
Using foil dishes, pretend noodles cut from yellow wool, and chopsticks the children set about transferring the noodles to the containers. This was far from easy! However, the children showed that they were able to use their fine motor skills to snip the wool, control the chopsticks and place the noodles into the trays. The children loved this activity which really tested their concentration and perseverance skills. Great work everyone!
