Double Treat at Children 1st @ Hathern

The early years at Hathern have been working very hard rehearsing for their very important graduation ceremony at the Community Hall.

As a special reward they were treated to a little playtime at the park and a cheeky ice cream as well, which in all this hot weather went down a treat!

Back at the nursery the early years and Peter Rabbits enjoyed another treat. A loud noise outside the building had the children searching at the windows to see what was happening. To their amazement it was a huge digger making its way down the drive. The children were really excited, so we asked the builders very nicely if we could come and have a look.

We got ready with our safety hats and high visibility jackets and made our way down to the garden. As we got closer the digger got bigger! The children climbed up and sat in the digger. It was so much fun looking at all the different buttons, the huge wheels and the enormous scoop!
