Eggciting Times at Children 1st @ Syston

No wonder we are excited! Our duckling eggs have arrived at nursery!

We will be keeping a close eye on them as we wait to see them hatch. We are all looking forward to caring for the ducklings and have been finding out about what we need to do to help them to thrive.

We’ve also been excited to take part in our ‘Healthy Body, Happy Me’ topic. There’s been so many activities and plenty of discussions taking place which link in with the theme.

Our Early Years’ children took part in Super Star Sports, joining in with many running and ball games.

They also had a discussion about keeping our teeth healthy and what we do to make sure they stay shiny and clean. We used the large and small toothbrushes and toothpaste to practice our skills on the large teeth.

Our Benjamin Bunnies loved their action songs which inspired so much music and movement.

The Bobtails were also very busy using the little goals when they played with the balls, before going on to celebrate Friendship Friday by taking part in mark making to decorate their  friendship dolls.
